YOU GOTTA EAT HERE!
At Camp Nokomis, we enjoy three well balanced meals a day, as well as two juice and snack/fruit breaks between periods and at times an evening snack. One of the biggest attractions at camp is the quality and diversity of the food we serve. Chef Phil Devine and his team take great pride in offering a wide selection of menu options that are both healthy and delicious. These are some of our camp favourites; peameal bacon & pancakes, sausage & french toast, tacos and chicken fajitas, mac & cheese, shepherd's pie, butter chicken, chilli, chicken souvlaki with rice roasted potatoes and greek salad, spaghetti and meatballs with caesar salad and garlic bread, bearpaw beef and chicken burgers. We conclude each week with a “Banquet dinner” where we enjoy special feasts such as BBQ ribs, coleslaw and baked beans, turkey with mashed potatoes and stuffing, or even beef tenderloin. Most food allergies and dietary restrictions can be accommodated and we are a peanut and tree nut safe facility.
