Over 80% of the campers at Camp Bellaleo are in need of financial assistance. Therefore, all of the proceeds of special events go directly towards giving kids the life changing experience of summer camp.

CAMP BELLALEO RENTALS

At Bellaleo we have an extremely high percentage of campers who are either partially or fully subsidized. We charge significantly lower fees for not just the general camper but for every service that we provide. Staying afloat as a business after experiencing the recent pandemic was nothing short of a miracle. The overwhelming impact of inflation on the cost of goods (food and supplies) and the cost of maintaining our beautiful 20 acre property, contributed to site rentals becoming a necessity for the survival of Bellaleo. Simply put, in 2020 if we did not quickly adapt by offering new forms of fundraising initiatives, Camp Bellaleo would have closed its gates permanently, leaving hundreds of children without the excitement and anticipation of returning to their home away from home each summer. 

 

We now offer full site rentals during a portion of the camp off-season, from mid May to the end of June and from late August to early October. Our site rentals/fundraisers can accommodate up to 100 + people, providing lodging, catering, activities in a unique and rustic atmosphere on the beautiful Lake Belwood. Whether you are looking to host a reunion, a company retreat, a wellness weekend, a wedding, or an educational outdoor experience as a school, we can meet the needs of your group. Our wonderful and energetic leadership team will help create a special experience with memories that will last a lifetime.

FACILITIES

Camp Bellaleo is on Lake Belwood, which is conveniently located only an hour outside the city of Toronto. With a mix of forest, trails, open areas, and cabins, Camp Bellaleo provides a rustic outdoor experience with a simple layout. Our 20-acre property has a beautiful waterfront, outdoor pool, sports field, archery range, basketball court, beach volleyball court, dining hall, craft hall and four fire pits. Camp Bellaleo has clean and comfortable residential cottages and cabins with built-in bunk beds, porches and separate living quarters for staff/parents.
